About 10 years as a college English teacher, with a Master's degree in English. Specializes in English grammar and ESL teaching methodology.
Holds a preliminary teaching credential in SDC (Special Day Class) and has taught inclusive classes at a charter school. Has hands-on experience working with children with moderate to severe autism at a school district in Santa Clara County.
Mom of a son with autism. She has closely followed his ABA therapy, speech therapy, OT, and PT. Since March 2023, she has been his homeschooling teacher, successfully bringing him to 4th-grade level in Math and English using her signature sensory-loaded, hands-on approach.
She is also mom to a typically developing daughter, giving her a full picture of how both typical and atypical children grow, play, and learn.
